Here are some of the ideas we are working on or have already completed

SAIL TO A CURE

We started Sail To A Cure back in the Summer of 2006 and it has evolved into an annual sailing regatta hosted and sponsored by Brewer's Marina in Greenport, NY.  All of the proceeds from this annual event are donated to the American Cancer Society.  Each year this event raises thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society!

NY to FL Rally

I'm currently working on setting up a car race from New York to Florida to benefit a local charity.  This one is going to be great... The idea is to get a few people together in team of 2, buy old (but well maintained) cars within a set budget and "race" them from New York to Florida.  When I say race I mean drive within a set speed limit and get a winner based on time management of the race.  I have already lined up a few drivers and a non-profit in Florida to help dispose of the cars when we get there.  The participants will donate their cars to charity at the end of the race and we will be accepting per mile donations prior to the start of the race.  We'll keep you posted on our progress and hopefully provide some dates soon.

Boxing

Next up is a boxing match.  I was thinking of training for a local charity event called the Long Island Fight for Charity.  It would be great to add a twist to this and invite a former heavy weight champ to come down as my opponent... For charity of course!

Sky Diving

I'm deathly afraid of jumping out of a plane so I think this could be a good way to raise money for charity.  Most people I know would love to see me try and do this, and would gladly raise money in an effort to see me get through this one!

Kids4Japan

CR8VE Giving is collecting drawings from local school children to send over to kids in Japan during this time of crisis.  We already have contacts set up in Japan to receive and distribute the drawings.... all we need now is your help!   Please click on the Kids4Japan page for info on where to send your drawings or click this link Kids4Japan.
